Summer vacation is starting to dwindle. Precious family time is like grains of sand in an hourglass.

So I am trying to make the best of it.

We went to the Sun 'n Fun water park in Ponca City.

We got there when they opened, so it looks empty in this pic, but trust me, it soon filled up.
The wave pool and blue slide race was my favorite. My son was a daredevil and went down almost all the tall rides. I enjoyed the frozen pickle juice popsicles! Harrison ate a fried Oreo and a funnel cake. I felt so relaxed...

We spent some time in our backyard pool. I like to lay on a float and laze away!

We spent almost six hours at Frontier City amusement park and water park today.

I am now tanned and tired!

And we have a trip planned to the Toy and Action Figure Museum in Paul's Valley
before school starts.

Right now my Finals are finished, but I am still working on big projects for my grad school. Then I get a few weeks off which I will spend working with my husband in his classroom to set it up. I took two days off from work to have some time to work with him on the set up. He always spent such a large amount of time every summer helping me get my own classroom student-ready. I miss decorating a classroom but I think my path is set!

Observational Look Fors

When I was an educational instructional coach, I would often observe teachers and give them feedback. It was never an official evaluation, but a tool for professional growth. I saw this handy chart online about what to look for when making an observation.

FRIyay!! Yay!

I am so pumped it is Friday. I am enjoying my day

off from work. It started with coffee and eggs.

Now I am listening to Postmodern Jukebox sing while

working on grad school stuff. My son is actually

cleaning his room (surprise!). Here’s to awesome
